This contest is open to everyone! 3 awesome monster designers will win a monster stuffed toy based on their design. Here is how to enter:
1) Draw a monster on any piece of paper and write a sentence or two about this monster, like where it lives or what it does.
2) Turn in the monster by SUNDAY, APRIL 1, 2012 in one of these ways:
a) emailing a photo to scvqgmonster@hotmail.com (best way!) OR
b) dropping it off at Beverly's craft store on Soledad Canyon in Canyon Country OR
c) mailing it to SCV Quilt Guild, P.O. Box 802863, Santa Clarita, CA 91381
3) Be sure to include your name, your age, the name of the monster, any information about the monster, an email address to reach you or your parent if you are under 18, so we can mail you the monster if you win!
4) The SCV Quilt Guild Monster committee will select which monsters to make
5) Monsters will be on display at the SCV quilt show on April 21, 2012
6) Visitors to the quilt show will vote for their favorite monster and the top 3 designers will get to keep their monster!
7) Other monster dolls will be donated to charities serving children in the Santa Clarita Valley.

a) all designs become the property of the SCV Quilt Guild and may be posted on our website or made into additional toys.
b) Winner need not be present to win.
c) The SCV Quilt Guild will deliver the 3 winning monsters via mail or personal delivery if winner is local.
